Providing a platform for progress
As the traditional heart of the rail industry, the North West has always been central to the success of British business. The future also holds huge potential for the region, with significant investment being delivered on electrification and the Northern Hub, alongside planning for HS2 and the TransNorth Railway (HS3).
The North West Rail Industry Leaders Group brings together businesses to help develop and support the rail industry in the region. By providing leadership and industry expertise, the group is about defining, shaping and delivering a journey of success for the North West.
Established by the Chambers of Commerce in Greater Manchester and the Liverpool City Region, the group is assessing the current situation, before identifying areas where working together can help develop the rail industry.
Engaging SMEs and skills are a particular focus, so input from any individual or organisation with an interest in the rail industry and engineering is welcomed, in order to make the group as relevant as possible.
